In a hot and heavy kissing scene, lips, mouth, and tongue end up getting used too repetitively. The problem is, there are no good replacement options:
I just wrote this as an example:
His lips skimmed down her throat, and he pressed a hot kiss to the pulse there. His mouth and tongue left wet trails along her skin. Missing the heat of his kiss, she shivered at the chill left in its wake. She turned her head, desperate to press her lips to his – and he pulled away with a chuckle.
“Love, do you want my mouth?"
“So much. I need your kiss. I need to feel your lips."
“And my tongue?" He asked, skating his hand down her torso.
She arched into his touch, desperately needing more. "Yes, I want your lips, mouth, tongue – all of it. Now.”
Okay, so let’s switch it up to be less repetitive.
His lips skimmed down her throat, and he pressed a hot kiss to the pulse there. His mouth and tongue left wet trails along her skin. Missing the heat of his puckered sucking motion, she shivered at the chill left in its wake. She turned her head, desperate to press her face labia to his – and he pulled away with a chuckle.
“Love, do you want my oral cavity?"
“So much. I need your smoosh face. I need to feel your mouth flaps."
“And my lingua?" He asked, skating his hand down her torso.
She arched into his touch, desperate, needing more. "Yes, I want your face pillows, your food hole, your licky thingy – all of it. Now.”
That was fun. And, on that, back to writing.
